Silver Sneakers Classic: This class is designed to increase strength, improve range of movement and support activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance.
When: Monday and Wednesday: 9 a.m.

Chair Yoga/Circuit Training: This class offers standing, low-impact choreography alternating with standing, upper-body strength work, combined with a series of seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility.

Complimentary Fitness Evaluations – Paul Hafen
Greenwood Parks & Recreation now offers free fitness evaluations at the Greenwood Community Center/Fieldhouse. Our certified personal trainer will measure body composition (percentage body fat), cardiovascular endurance (VO2 max), muscular strength (percentage 1RM) and/or resting metabolic rate (resting energy expenditure).
This information can be useful when developing a personal workout plan; however, you are under no obligation to utilize one of our personal trainers upon completion of the evaluation.

Tai Chi is a gentle, total body form of exercise. It's an ancient Chinese tradition that involves a series of movements performed in a slow, graceful manner along with deep breathing.
