The City of Greenwood recognizes the "Architectural Control Committee" for residential subdivisions for the purpose of reviewing site plans, plot plans and construction plans for the following:
New single-family or two-family dwellings
Additions to, or exterior remodeling of, single-family or two-family dwellings
Detached garages and accessory buildings
In order to be recognized, an "Architectural Control Committee" must properly identify itself, in writing, to the Building Commissioner at the time of final plat approval or thereafter. It shall be the responsibility of the committee to notify the Building Commissioner of changes of names or members that may occur from time to time.

Before issuing a permit for construction within a subdivision, the Building Commissioner shall require the applicant to affirm, in writing, that the proper Architectural Control Committee has been sent notice.

Final authority for issuing a permit shall, in all cases, rest with the Building Commissioner. The City of Greenwood shall not be a part of, nor be responsible for enforcement of, subdivision covenants, except as stated above.
