Utility Marking, Permits and Requests

The City of Greenwood recognizes the "Architectural Control Committee" for residential subdivisions for the purpose of reviewing site plans, plot plans and construction plans.

Lane closures are in effect for Market Plaza as Phase 1 Construction is underway. Find more details here on the project page.
Cutsinger Road Improvements
Road pavement and widening has started on Cutsinger Road. Residents can expect full closures. Detour options are available and local access is allowed.
Averitt & Smith Valley Roundabout
Residents can expect lane restrictions as crews work to relocate utilities in 2024 ahead of the Averitt and Smith Valley roundabout project starting in 2025. Roads will remain open.

Johnson County Projects
Johnson County will be replacing the bridge that leads into Sable Ridge on Fry Road, west of S.R. 135. Following Monday, October 7th, the outside left turn lane on Fry Road will be restricted for 30 days to work on this project.
