Next-day residential inspection requests must be called in or emailed by 4 p.m. on the previous business day. Any requests received after this time will be scheduled for the following business day.
Note: Requesting a next day inspection by 4 p.m. does not guarantee that there will be time available in the schedule for your inspection.

Final energy certificates must be emailed to the Building
Commissioner's office prior to, or at the same time, a final inspection is requested. The inspector cannot do the inspection if the final energy certificate is not on file.

Other inspections, including underslabs, rough-ins, above ceilings and finals will be scheduled for a specific date and a window of time will be given. We will also notify the Fire Marshall of the date and time of the inspection.
Commercial Inspection Scheduling Policy
All timed inspections must be cancelled at least one hour before the designated inspection time. Inspections that are not time-specific must be cancelled by 9 a.m. on the scheduled day. Failure to follow this policy may result in a Re-Inspection Fee.
