Automated Trash Service
The City of Greenwood believes in safer, cleaner, greener waste management and provides fully automated trash services to residents within city limits. Services include weekly trash pickup and free bi-weekly recycling. Residents receive 95-gallon carts for both trash and recycling, which can be modified to fit resident specific needs after delivery.
If you find the 95-gallon receptacle is too large for your needs, you may call Best Way Disposal to exchange your 95-gallon cart for a 64-gallon cart at no charge. Alternatively, if you find the 95-gallon receptacle is too small for your needs, you may call Best Way Disposal to have an additional 64-gallon cart delivered to you at no charge.
An informational brochure is included in each new cart. Click here to learn more.
On your designated pick up day, trash and recycling must be curbside by 7 a.m. All trash must go inside the provided cart. Heavy trash days will follow the same rules.
